My name is Brett Yoder and I'm on an absurd quest to visit all 400+ current high school gyms in Indiana along with some from bygone eras. I grew up traveling all over northern Indiana visiting and playing in different gyms and became enamored with the ways each one was unique. People who live in this state know there is something different about high school basketball here. It's called Hoosier Hysteria for a reason. These gyms are at the heart of what makes it so special.

As I go I am ranking each one that I've visited using completely unscientific methods. It's my personal list so inevitably there will be some bias, though I've done my best to keep it to a minimum. A short description of each gym accompanies the ranking, and I hope to add more pictures and details to those descriptions as I go along and revisit many of these venues.
